What I'll be crafting
Hand embroidery creates many texture and decorative arts on a fabric.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to work with cotton floss, mount sewing cloth onto a hoop for embroidery and finish work in a mini hoop.
8 Basic Stitches like : Running, Back, Stem, Chain, Fern & Fly, Blanket, Split and French Knots. With Special stitch: Spiderweb Rose
Personalized words or names as a gift for your love ones.
How to end work on a mini-hoop, which you can use it as a jewelry, brooch or bag-tag.
At the end of the session, Students will complete and bring home two mini-hoop pendent or brooch, embroidery floss, needle, air-erasable pen and 4" hoop art.
Cost includes teaching fee, embroidery hoop, 2 mini hoop pendants, embroidery threads, air-erasable pen, needle and handouts.
This workshop is suitable for ages 12 and above.
About the instructor
Angela Ng, started Wish I Were Stitching in 2012. She is an avid needleworker. She left a full time job to pursue her interest in crotchet, knitting, stitching, ribbon work and embroidery that reflect present-day tastes.
She is trained in London and Nottingham, and loves to discover ultra-modern needlework products of small, independent workshops worldwide and make them available to hobbyists in Singapore and Asia.
